I note that after the URL, there are a hash-tag followed by a dot and strange characters for all pages. These characters seem unique for each page. When I open any page, these characters take a second or so to appear.

For example:
www.mywebsite.comadmin#.UZbtysqmX1U
www.mywebsite.com/admin/appearance#.UZbvmMqmX1U
www.mywebsite.com/node/add/page#.UZbv28qmX1U

Any help to get rid of that? Thanks

Check this out if you are using AddThis module.

Thanks Drupella, the problem was due to the Addthis track. I disabled it as described in the link and it is gone. Thank you again!
