Hi,

I have 2 types of members: free (F) and "$" members. The "$" members can load images to the site; they have an album accessible through a tab on their profile (made with Views).

Right now, this tab is visible to all. So when a " F " user looks at his profile, he can think that he has access to an album (confusing).

Is there a simple way, in Views, to hide the tab for " Free " members and not to "$" members?

(there is 6 combinations: F can see $ tab; F not see own tab or other F tab; $ dont see F tab; and so on).

Thanks.

In the contextual filters settings theres an option for a user validation that checks for a role. That's how I usually do it.

In your View, look for "Access" under Block Settings.
If it says "Permission" click on it and change it to "Role". Select the role that you want the view to show for and you're done.
