Description

This is a great module! Thank you very much for sharing it!

Would it be possible to expose the node types that are selected by the admin to the user over the search box to allow the user to select from among them to conduct a search? For example, I would like to have three types of search on one page: documents, images, and events. Currently, if I want to keep those separated, I need to use three search boxes. It would be great if we could use one search box, and allow the user to select from the node types that I have selected in the block configuration.

Thanks again for your time!

Thanks for your kind words.

So what are you thinking? Maybe a select box above the text box where the user can select from the list of types? Did you have another idea for the user interface?

Mike -

Thanks for your response. Your suggestion makes sense. I guess it should be a select to allow for a varied number of node types. I am just putting together a family site, so I don't have much cash to allocate to a change, but I would certainly Paypal you a few beers or alternative beverages.

Thanks - dennis

I am probably going crazy, but when I install 6.x.2.x-dev, the core functionality works fine, but I do not see any option on the block configuration page to Expose node types. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks again.

Sorry, my bad :(
I had some problems with cvs committing so -dev version is actually same as official.
Now I posted 6.x-2.1-beta1 -- this one is doing the job.

Please let me know when you test it, thanks !
