Your response will help shape the future of the Drupal business ecosystem.Views is an extremely flexible and powerful module that is central to the needs of many sites, it is also can be one of the most frustratingly hard modules to figure out how to use properly, espescially for those without a strong programming background. The effective use of arguments was the hardest concept for me to wrap my head around, but was also the most rewarding once I did.
What I would like to see is a screencast/tutorial (I would prefer both, but a tutorial is the bigger need, though it should at least include screenshots) that explains what Views arguments are/do and demonstrates how to effectively use them, including a few use cases detailing some commonly used arguments (a least one involving User, Taxonomy, and Node characteristics).

webchickThis is a good start, Alex, thanks! However, we need this specced out in more detail in order to receive results that we'll be happy with. Tasks that are "murky" tend to be frustrating for students because they're not sure what we want, and frustrating for us, because we don't know either. :)
One thing that would help is maybe an outline of what you feel should be covered in the tutorial? While it doesn't have to be as extensive as http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-drupal/issues/..., this is sort of what we're shooting for: something clear that's easy to check off as done.
