newbie just getting started so ----I still see the administration menu when I go to my website - how do I hide it from public view? I've gone through all the options and haven't found out how I can hide the adminstration option so that I only see them when I log in as admin. Please help. Thanks.

are you sure you are not logged in?
try clicking "logout" and see.
Logged out and still see
Logged out and still see "administration" in navigation bar. Click on it and all admin functions are available and changes can be made and saved....without any login prompt or authentication???
View from another PC?
Can you see it from another PC without logging in? May just be your local browser cache keeping the information available. Do you have ADMIN modules available to anonymous users? You can check this under "Access Control". Make sure you don't have any ADMIN functions checked for anonymous or even authenticated users.

Well thought it was
Well thought it was fixed.....I had changed all the access permissions and there are none checked for any of the admin functions however I am seeing the admin option on the navigation menu and I click on it and up comes the Admin menus - can make and save changes still too....just going to the website...no /user or /admin either. No login prompt or anything.....even from another pc? I haven't changed any of the access options since the last time I saw that it was working....seems like something flakey going on. Not sure what else to check
