Notepad module

Is there any kind of simple notepad module? I would love something in Drupal instead of emailing notes to myself and filing them in my mail client. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard...

exists already (somehow)

you could make a term "notes" and file all your "notes" (pages, blogpages, stories, etc.) under that term

Tried that...

I tried that but in order to view them easily they have to be published... then everyone can see them. I guess I could look at roles a little closer. Is there any way to create a new type of content (page, blog, story...). Then I could set permissions for that content more effectively.

Trouble is, I want to use all the other types of content well, for content.

Taxonomy access

If you want to deny access to certain roles, use the taxonomy access module.

Funny, just grabbed it...

That is funny, I just grabbed it and came here to post about it. Day late and a dollar short...

Thanks!
