Here is an elementary question that I hope has been experienced before me...I go to appearance (using Garland) to change the color then, save config. however, when I go to the front page...it has not changed to the color I want? I will go to structure/blocks and will click on "demonstrate block regions," and the color is the color I changed to. What's up?

Have you tried clearing the cache?
Cleared cache
Yes, the first thing I did but, no change.

Do you have a link to the page?
link to page
Yes, I do have a menu link to the front page. It is a content-type, and I also have enabled "promoted to front page".

No can you post a link here for us so we can check out the page in question?
To cfox612
Well...I am working on multiple projects in Drupal right now...and unfortunately, I am not able to post a link to this particular project with the page in question because I have a partner with this one that does not want to divulge the theme until launch. I can say this ...to add for process of elimination...I was in maintenance mode, and then went out of maintenance mode to see if that made a difference...I did a save configuration in the appearance page with the setting on the new color (even though saved already...but, just to make sure...I know...a move of pseudo-desperation but, then again, it should work already anyway, right?)...no change. It did seem like something was refreshed on the front page because it flickered the page, even though no change to the new color. So, you have not seen this symptom before? I am running Drupal 7.22.

when you cleared the cache before, I presume you mean the database cache. Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
To VM
Yes, that is correct I cleared the database cache. Browser cache...you mean web content cache or application cache? The web content cache had about 300 MB+, I cleared and no change...the application cache had 0 bytes. Or...did you mean something else?
You will not believe...
Ok...when I first went to the "Appearance" tab...the Garland theme shows up first in the enable theme section. However, when I scroll down to the disabled section, the Danland theme is in this section. The kicker is...I'm using the Danland theme!--which doesn't have change color! Bizarre is all I have to say! It's been awhile since I changed to the Danland theme, like a few months so, in my mind, Garland was the theme I was using, especially when it was the first theme shown at the top of the Appearance tab! I just wanted to FYI you guys so you know I finally solved the mystery!
