Editable fields and calculations within table manager, almost spreadsheet like. Possible?

Issue Summary

Hi there, Drupal noob here!

First off, hopefully I've posted this in the right place!? If not, my apologies.

Now, onto the issue at hand. I need to create a table for a Building/Construction website whereby a potential customer who goes onto the site enters in dimensions and calculations are done on those dimensions to give back a price estimate which is calculated via a "price per square metre" field set by the site's admin on the backend, though for ease of calculation this could be displayed in the table also. Also with the company offering various different services (paving, plastering etc.) it'd be quite cool if the user could, one one page, get estimates for several different jobs and add them together for a total cost, though this is not a necessity.

I think with a little bit of hacking this would be more than possible, especially as I've seen pobster describing what I think is the functionality I'm looking for as being available in his v2 of the TableManager module. Unfortunately I don't have time to wait that long so any help anyone could give me would be most appreciated!
