...but nobody knows of it. You could even think so if you see what is or what is not going on over there at the Drupaltin project.
The module is in 2.0 alpha state and is working quite good yet but due to GPL licensing issues or some other problems all the development is going on far away from the drupal masses and from some developers who could probably be able to help.
It would be great if some of you or even everyone who reeds this, step over to the forums of Jordan where he cries for development help. Most of us wish a good integration of a great forum software with the best cms ever, don't we? I do and i know lot's of you do so also.
Some more information regarding Drupaltin is on http://www.drupaltin.net.
Unfortunately Jordan isn't that active these days but i think that is primarly due to lack of time. If he gets ome help things could probably go much better and faster.
Thanks for your time!

vbulletin and drupal
Out of interest
There is another stable development of Drupal and vBulletin over at http://www.vbdrupal.org
vbdrupal is not a viable option
Why would you want to merge the two together when you can bridge them instead with the same results? I don't want to change any of the core drupal or vbulletin files. Drupaltin is definitely the way to go... once a stable version gets released
