Hello

Im trying to create a simple blog, and i cant get content promoted to the front page to display all the content - IE the entire post, which is what i need it to do, cant find the right css styles to change the title or the height/amount of content displayed.
any help would be greatly appreciated, has been driving me mad!

CSS has nothing to do with controlling the length of the teaser. Go to content types > blog> manage display> teaser and change the length of the body field to whatever you want.

weirdly that didnt work...any ideas why it might not being reading the amount of lines to display?

if you are limiting the output by characters and have any html in the body field then the html code will be counted.

i dont have a character counter just the : lines: option
ive put 5000 in there and its still not displaying full amount of text..super weird..

Is your front page being overridden by a view? panels? ..?
