This is only a problem when using jquery_update >= 1.7. The selector used to show/hide the token value is invalid in these newer versions.

Should probably include steps to reproduce:

  1. Install jquery update, choose 1.8 (or maybe 1.7 too)
  2. Create an EVA display on any view
  3. Try to change the argument mode

No views dialog appears and you'll get a JS error in the console.
