Issue Summary
I am adding this issue myself to remind myself about it later, when I get to it. (Patches are welcome but not necessary). On a post such as this:
Google [ref:http://www.google.com] is sponsoring GHOP, Google [ref:http://www.google.com] Highly Open Participation contest.
Would create a footnote at the bottom like such:
[1] - http://www.google.com
[2] - http://www.google.com
Instead, there should only be one footnote, and the references should have the same number.
There should also probably be an easier way of doing this ([ref:http://www.google.com] would be different from [ref:http://google.com] under this thinking.

Fixed in new release.

Automatically closed -- issue fixed for two weeks with no activity.
#3
There is only one footnote for the repeated references but the numbering of the footnotes is wrong.
