Should Modr8 email moderator when node is added to moderate queue?

Hiya all..
This is really more of a question than an issue.
I want to know if the user with moderator permission is alerted when a node (which requires moderation) is added.
If that functionality IS there - then my Modr8 module not running that part of the process (EXIM mail is running on the server - tested).
If that functionality is NOT there - then maybe it should be?
Drupal 5.x
Modr8 version "5.x-2.2".

I agree entirely. Any idea if/when this feature will be added? If not, what's the best way to add it ourselves...
