Unable to configure mailhandler

Hi All :
I recently read the posting on the main site saying that it is indeed possible to send postings through email. This thus requires installing and configuring mailhandler & mailsave. I though downloaded them both but am unable to configure primarily because I don't find:
1) 'Link filter' under /admin/settings/filters though I see the other two which are required to be checked for configuring mailhandler
2) And I ofcourse don't find /admin/content/mailhandler to skip few steps and move further
Can some one please direct me to the documentation which will help me understand the configuration procedure better.

Handbook page
There's mailhandler handbook page, and part of it details an example configuration, including how to use commands. To get mailhandler running you don't need any particular filters unless you want to be able to auto-magically make links clickable etc.
Also, you only need mailsave if you want to collect attachments or attach images to nodes. If you are only going to post basic text mailhandler is all you need.
