How would I have a feed pulling from several rss feeds that would list the feed items by date?

Is this possible? Would I use views?

or at least how would I have a the latest 3 feed items showing under the feed heading?

PS my re-install of FeedAPI didn't auto create the content types (and possibly views) again so I'm flying blind here sorry.

Try taxonews. You will need to enable the feedapi_inherit module.
