Hello, google maps let you to put diferent flags, but now I say that the flag/markets are relationed with the vocabulary.

I'd like to know if is going to be developer a way to choose flag/markets in a diferent way, so I can put a diferent flag/market everytime I one.

This sounds really cool If someone wants to create a patch to implement this, please do. Since this has been inactive for over a year. I'll mark it postponed for now, because this might be an idea worth investigating in the future.

I was coming back to tag this with a country flag tag, but on re-reading it, I think the original poster was asking about showing a different kind of marker on the map (marker as in push pin).

I don't think the marker type can be chosen at the time of input, so this will still need to wait until someone codes that up. But I'm certain that different markers can be displayed on a map. I think I did this by associating terms from a vocabulary with each location and associating a certain marker type with each term in the vocabulary.

If anyone has a better idea; please post. :)
