Hello,
First of all thanks for this great and useful module.
I'm using Drupal 5.3 version, Xml Sitemap 5.x-1.3, Pathauto 5.x-1.2, cleanurls enabled.
Maybe a silly question...
Xml Sitemap is working is working fine for me, except for one strange thing in the generated sitemap.xml...
Most of the urls appearing on the site map are formatted like that: http://www.sitename.com/subfolder/node/nodenumber instead of the url alias provided by pathauto module which is http://ww.sitename.com/subfolder/category/nodetitle... This happens for book pages and cck nodes as well. But taxonomy links are well formatted...
What can do that? Is this normal, is this a bug, is this a problem in my configuration ???
Thanks in advance for any idea or suggestion.
I am also anxious to see the next version of your module.
Best regards

Is this a duplicate of issue 199413?

Hello Darren,
I've read the nodes references you provided... I think It is not a duplicate.

Does the xmlsitemap_node table have entries for the nodes which are missing aliases?
#5
I have checked the tables and it is quite strange...
The sitemap list over 200 urls when accessed from the admin.
The xmlsitemap_node table only list 12 records!
For your information, I did not experienced any issue during install.
Should I need to upgrade to the new dev version dated on Dec. 18, 2007 and see if it fix the issue?

Hello again Darren,
I ust upgraded your module to the Dev version 5.x-1.x.dev dated on Dec.18,2007 and after a database upgrade and 2 cron run, it fixed the issue.
The xmlsitemap_node table shows a correct number of nodes and the sitemap.xml correctly shows url alias (instead of plain urls).
I still do not know what has generated this, but it has been fixed by your dev version.
If you agree I will get the status of this issue to a closed issue.
Thanks again for this great module!

Im facing a similar problem.
Sometimes on editing the node the sitemap updates with alias links created by pathauto module. Other times it does not.
I checked the xmlsitemap_node table and it does now have entries for the nodes which are missing aliases?
Hope there is a fix for this.
Thanks.

Sorry, your site map won't show anything. The problem can only be diagnosed by looking at the database.
#10
oh sorry, how do I show you my database then?

You should contact me directly. Sharing that information here could allow anyone to take control of your site.
