I am not getting pass through database configuration page.

I am giving database name as----databasename

Database username:username
password----------:password

still no access

ERROR MESSAGE---------

The following errors must be resolved before you can continue the installation process:
You have configured Drupal to use the default username and password. This is not allowed for security reasons.
Failure to connect to your MySQL database server. MySQL reports the following message: Access denied for user 'username'@'localhost' (using password: YES).
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct database hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

Do you know the unique, secure username and password for your MySQL database?

If you don't, you're not getting past that screen.

What r these....

CAN TELL ME ONE MORE THING....SHOULD I KNOW SQL VERY WELL B4 STARTING TO DO IT????
