icons for CCK

Would this be the place to work on the mime-type icons for CCK filefield module we spoke about in IRC?

I'm not sure when I could start working on this, so in the meantime I would suggest looking at the lullacons, there's a few mime-type ones in there: http://www.lullabot.com/articles/free_gpl_icons_lullacons_pack_1

But I surely will have a go at some of these. Mime-types first or do you have any other requests?

Yeah, having a few icons for CCK UI would be cool. The drag-n-drop version of the 'manage fields' tab is about ready (experimental in current HEAD, I'll commit a working version shortly), and lets us reclaim some screen real-estate ('weight' and 'group' are gone / hidden). Replacing the 'configure' and 'remove' links with icons could let us one step further...

I'm not sure CCK will have extensive and specific needs in terms if icon set, though. I was considering stealing the icons used in Panels 2 for now, while Views 2 UI is being defined. Ultimately, the same icons should definitely be used in Views, CCK, Panels...

So : yoroy, many thanks for your offer. Your icon works in various parts of core / contrib is much welcome. I'd say the work that will be done in Views will benefit CCK too :-)

You should most certainly reuse views and panels icons where possible! As a first step in collecting all icon activity on Drupal I started this wikipage
