I might be wrong, but some time ago I stopped updating Pathauto because it required PHP5 and the webhosting we use had no PHP5. Is this still a requirement? Thanks for any info.

Not anymore. That was just for a very short amount of time. It turned out the feature of php5 I was using was not included on many many hosts :(

Thanks, it's good news, now I have to update a dozen of Pathauto modules. Should perhaps this non-requirement be mentioned somewhere? there might be more confused people like me...

It was only a short time so I don't think many people got scared off by that.

I'm also not sure how to state a non-requirement in a way that takes up small amounts of space on the project home page (which is valuable real estate).
