Questions limited to 128 characters

Greetings. I am setting up a site that features an advice column for which your module appears to be a near perfect fit, but the 128 character limit in the questions is far too small. The minimum my site requires is about ten times that.

Are there any plans to change this, or is there an easy way I could do it myself? If not, I had been planning on working with the forum module anyway, so maybe that could be repurposed.
