The guestbook entries show the original email addresses although I am using spamspan.module. Can you advice what to do to make this work? I do not want to give my visitors email addresses to email harvesters.

To be more precise, it is the email address field that is not seen by the spamspan module. I have just tested GTSpam and it shows the same behaviour. In both cases I gave them the highest priority in the input formats. Email addresses in the free format text field are hidden, but not in the email address field.
