I gotta say it's incredibly frustrating trying to find a module that actually works.

I've downloaded 4 different modules that one would assume would work, given that they've been included in the modules section.

But not one of them has worked properly.

The location module doesn't confiure maps for Australia. Just the US. Hmph.

The Gmap addon function only displays a centred map. Not a marker, which is what people really want.

The Geobrowser takes over the whole screen display, leaving your site as a window to be closed in the middle of a map screen, as if your site wasn't important.

And the CCK Map doesn't display the marker added, unless adding a comment afterwards.

What gives?

All I want to do is add some locations, with maybe an extra text field, and display a map.
The ability to view a few locations and have all their markers on a map would be nice.

What are people doing to achieve this?

Not sure what you meant, Dana. I've been tearing my hair out trying to get one working. Luckily I have a lot of hair. I've been self-motivating so far. But I can share :)

I have been working on getting GeoMap to work with location API, which it doesnt seem to do, as stated... frustrating, yes... very much so
