I do not see any link to this in the admin section. When i go to the blocks section it does show up and i have it set to the right side and named related items, but it does not show up on any page. Any help getting this setup would be great.

If you create a new view (or edit an existing one), look under 'filters'. There should be one called "Taxonomy: Term of current node". Use that, and your view will be able to pull up "related" items -- i.e., items with terms that also occur in the current node. Then, you can have that view provide 'block', and put that block someplace.

I just submitted a new version of relatedviews. I think the problem is that I developed it against a views 1.6 RC, not the final views 1.6 api. I'll go ahead and release this new version as 1.0.
