Extras not actually showing up?

Hi,
I want to use the websnapper service, but I can't find the field type option on cck. I have the link extra installed, and extras, but nothing is there. What am I doing wrong?

The websnapr extra formats the display of a link field, it doesn't add a new field type.
If you haven't already done so add a link field to your content type, then go to 'Display fields' and select the display option for your link field to show either preview image (tiny) or preview image (small).

- I've got a CCK Link field in a content type.
- I've got the extra module enabled.
- I've got the display fields tab showing
- I go to the drop-downs and neither preview image (tiny) or preview image (small). shows up for teasers or full.
So, still no websnapr links.
I suggest, also, that the included documentation tell people where to look for the settings on each extra. I haven't found any, though main one I'm looking for is websnapr.
UPDATE: works fine on my own server. But work server, no. I wonder what we should be looking for there, as a reason that this doesn't show up?
UPDATE2: I created a NEW link field, found the preview images were there. I then deleted the newly created field. Voila! The link previews showed up for the original link field.
