Potential to add Dynamic List View or Table View?

Issue Summary

I would like to use the Dynamic Views module to help produce a more organic, jquery-ish book navigation. What I'm getting hung up on is the fact that I can't set the block to work as a list (as in, titles only). Having to present teasers is, at least in my application, a little awkward and the page ends up too text heavy.

Is there any intent to add support for a Dynamic List View?

I'd be willing to help add the functionality if that's what it takes to get it there.
