One last change to vocabulary before release of 4.6 that I think everybody would like is this:

www.foo.org/taxonomy/vocabulary/8

Thus allowing for direct links to all content of a specific vocabulary, as of now I think this is only possible for term.

It would be a simple, but very usefull improvement.
It should be possible even without change in database.

I also put a big +1 for this feature.
Node are associated to terms and terms to vocabulary. At this point that's fine and module like taxonomy_menu can provides you this kind of browsing typing URL /taxonomy_menu/vid.
But, if you allow nodes not to belong to a defined term from a category (selecting [none]), so your node belongs to the root of your website, it gets a tid = 0 in term_node table.

Hum, I will let this comment maybe it can help people in the future, but maybe I finally manage to encounter my problem... I thought it was a good idea to define note type belonging to vocabulary, but I thought that selecting [none] would make the node belonging to the vocabulary root. But in fact there's no vocabulary root, it's only website root, so node can get lost in a sort of black hole...

Not relevant any longer - it should be done on all terms of a vocab, if it should be done.
