Issue Summary
It's a very interesting drupal-modul you are going to code.
When do you think will be your first code available, maybe for testing?

No sorry, much to early for that. Check back in a couple of months.

I'm planning on making a release at version 0.5 so others can stop on by the code and take a look at what they can improve. I do have a .module document in my test environment that I'm working on but I haven't put that on the CVS yet.

Thanks. Keep up the work !

The wait will be long. I'm working on it as I have free time, not as a corporate initiative.
The best time to jump in to help would be at the first release of the development code. That will be around version 0.5. Right now I'm handling some weird issues with Apache and the drupal_http_request. Must be my development box because I don't have the problem on my laptop.
I've solved the problem of implementing AuthSub and now I'm moving forward with getting atom feeds filled with events from Google Calendar. After that I'll work on creating events with that feed. I might need help figuring out the best way to do that. I'd like to use the core aggregator module but if it can't do what I need then I'll have to look for alternatives.

nice, can't wait for .5 to test it out!

Great to hear there remains a lot of enthusiasm about this idea. I know there are others working on similar ideas with Google APIs and there is even someone working on another implementation of this module using the Zend Framework.
For me progress has slowed due to my lack of understanding of the creating nodes with the incoming XML-based data stream and the stresses of starting a new job. I initially had a difficult time deciding which route I should take with handling the incoming data stream and have tentatively decided to use the FeedAPI to handle the Atom stream that Google sends out.
I'm having trouble with getting this work. Does anyone know who the best person to contact for some help with FeedAPI is?
