the page
http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/admin/content/flag_content
is not comfortable as is for a team of moderators? admin ? (who by the way?)
1- get more info on the reason for being flagged
give possibility to flaggers to give a comment why they flag a content
2- if we click on delete -do we keep track ? would rather "conceal" and put the content in non visible
if we click on edit - do we keep track ? who edited what ( may be have a text box for this and save it in this list

Is it possible to receive an email when a content is flagged (we can make a special group to work on it)?
mlncn commentedI was going to whine that these requests are rather major enhancements to the flag_content module, but the hidden module created for use by Indymedia sites using Drupal is so much better! It allows for people to give a reason when reporting or hiding content. So we will switch to that wholesale. There is still a bug on reporting content as a regular user but as soon as I fix that we will switch. Hidden.module is running on the test site: http://wsf.grassrootsconnection.org/
These e-mails are currently sent to just us. We can send it to whatever is desired (both flag_content and hidden module have this feature).
On the related issue of what the action should be called, we had renamed "Flag content" as "Report inappopriate" but that only applies when the site is viewed in English. It must be translated into other languages (or the custom English copied into other languages) in order to replace the module's original (also called system) text.
So this issue is marked needs more info for two reasons:
* What should the e-mail address be for reported content?
* What should the text offering to report content say (Report as inappropriate)? -- provide this in the main languages and we can stick that in for you.
* Hidden.module asks people to provide the reason content should be hidden, for example "Policy violation" -- what should these options say?

please advise
Pierre
now answering your questions
the mailing list could be moderate /wsf2008.net ......
why is the translation not working : flag this has been translated
http://dev.wsf2008.net/fr/admin/settings/locale/string/edit/8545
now i have started to translate : "are you sure ? " but will continue after we decide about the new module
http://dev.wsf2008.net/fr/admin/settings/locale/string/edit/8547
how many options do we have ?
- this action is not in accordance with social forum charter of principle - apology of violence - action organized by a political party or by governement body etc...

mlncn commentedNew system using the hidden module implemented.
Administrators and moderators can supply pre-configured reasons for hiding content (as many as wanted), if this is desired (the default is "Policy Violation") here: http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/admin/content/hidden
List of reported content can be seen here:
http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/admin/content/node/list/hiddenreported
List of already hidden content can be seen here:
http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/admin/content/node/list/hidden
the e-mail you supplied will receive updates-- Pierre, you may want to edit your comment at the issue to obfuscate the address now, so spammers don't pick it up

pierregrg commentedi reported on some content today (see http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/admin/content/node/list/hiddenreported) but no message to moderate@wsf208.net was received .....
i thought this had been sucessfully tested some time ago .... so am surprised
we have to make it work ....
(on the criteria for flagging we need to flesh the group and ask for guidance with concrete examples )

mlncn commentedThis appeared to work throughout, I got plenty of messages. (The e-mails the hidden module sends could be better titled -- there's HTML in the title which may be triggering spam filters.)
