we need to feed other sites with the dynamics of wsf2008.net,... whatever it is
for this, given the many information on the home page, i suggest to go to "my participation" menu and add a line. Just above log out
"my participation menu "
* My action spaces
* Present action in a new action space
* Ask a question about WSF2008 (should also allow to see FAQs in a second click)
* Calendar of all actions (does not work)
*lLINKS TO OTHER WSF WEBSITES
* Log out
this would link to a page where sites will be presented with a short comment and a link to them
( might give access to http://www.wsf2008.net/eng/resources also )

mlncn commentedWe need the list of other web sites to link to ;-)

pierregrg commentedthere you go Ben with a first version:
http://dev.wsf2008.net/eng/node/1946
Comment #3
jnardi commentedWe need to work on both WSF related websites (all the list here) and Resources page (with a list of social movement / collaborative websites).
We need it (them) visible also for non registered users, so I would suggest to add it to the main top menu "RESOURCES" or "LINKS" (and move the languages out of there to a better structured menu - since the drop down in this case goes out of the screen and is difficult to use).
But also add in My participation

pierregrg commentedNow there is no obstacle for at least getting the line in "my participation" ...
mlncn commentedThis is in a menu right next to "My participation" for now, called "Information"
The left side of the Resources page is content of type resource, most recently added first. The right side is node 1946 that Pierre provided.
mlncn commentedp.s. I will try to get Resources into the top menu also.
Who deleted the Idealist page, by the way?
pierregrg commentedI see two problems
- the expressive word "link" should appear "ressources and links" -
- better if the equivalent node 1946 should be accessible in edit, so that we can edit it .....it does not seem to be the case now
Comment #8
pierregrg commentedplease react and direct the menu item to an editable page so we can add new sites - or shall we edit page 1946 and ask each time you to upload it
"ressources" does not mean much
- the expressive word "link" should appear "ressources and links" - and i would divide in three lines ( ressrouces( do not know what it is ; links, directory
Comment #9
mlncn commentedHi Pierre,
Sorry-- I wrote a response a while ago but I think it was in a browser window that never got submitted.
The menu item is an editable page, it is the very same page you provided me. Like many pages on the site it is embedded in a panel. It is still editable at the original node ID which you have in this case, or by clicking on the title to go to the standalone page, or in a worst case by searching for the content.
We can also set it up so all pages in panels have an "edit" link for administrators only (this is the way we have the Agaric Design Collective site set up).

pierregrg commentedOK - thanks

mlncn commentedCreate the pages. Give me the URLs. You can have it in the sidebar if that's the consensus. Please stop this water-drop torture.
