Issue Summary
I'm now working with a project that is going to be more sophistaced. As you I think that vBulletin is standing in the way. But apart from just migrating from vBulletin to Drupal, this site uses "vB Drupal". This little vB Drupal distribution integrates Drupal with vBulletin, but it is not handy enough.
Is a migration from that also provided by the module?
What changes need to be done?
As far as I know uids are being synced between Drupal and vBulletin and all Drupal database tables are prefixed by "vb_drupal_", I don't know about changes made on the vBulletin side.

Wow, that's a good question! All I know is that it should work, but I haven't tested it at all. The best way forward is to create a copy of this vB Drupal installation and try doing a migration, if you get any errors raise a bug here. If all goes well do let me know in this thread, it will be helpful for people to know that they too can convert. :)
