How hard would it be to tie in the new title of attachments into the customizeable title for nodes that is possible with the patch discussed in this node: http://drupal.org/node/10056

It seems reasonable to think that many drupal sites could benefit from one title for a file, instead of two titles, one for the node and one for the link... I think it would be useful, at least, to be able to customize this through the attachment module. Let me know what you think or what would need to be done to do this.

Attached file titles have nothing to do with node titles. While I can see some people wanting to upload files as nodes that is not the purpose of this module. If you have nodes which sole purpose is to upload a file then you should look at using flexinode and just adding one field which is a file upload field.
