When you visit the supplied link to see supported smiley images there are a number of overwhelmingly "inappropriate" (pr0n) images.

SeeSchloss commentedHmm yes, the problem is that it's the only good server.
For now I've set http://forum-images.hardware.fr/images/perso/ as the default server, which is moderated and safe for work, but it will need some work to display the smileys list.
SeeSchloss commentedThe list adress for HFR is http://forum.hardware.fr/wikismilies.php?config=hfr.inc&threecol=1&alpha=a
Comment #3
SeeSchloss commentedThe default site is now http://swf.totoz.eu which only contains totoz.eu's safe for work images (not tagged paclikai).

Smicike commentedthis link does not work:
http://forum-images.hardware.fr/images/perso/
does anybody know any good smileys server link to use it for tribune?
SeeSchloss commentedThe only existing usable server is http://sfw.totoz.eu (and its not safe for work version, http://totoz.eu)...

harishu commentedhow can i change the link on my page which appears in these lines "You can also insert smileys in your post this way: [:smiley]. See all the available smileys or add a new one at this address" the address is "http://forum-images.hardware.fr/images/perso/"
even if i copy and paste a smily from totoz to the tribune , it does not display. is there s'thing i can do ?

SeeSchloss commentedharishu, you can set the "Smileys server" setting to "http://sfw.totoz.eu" (or to "http://totoz.eu" if you don't mind the "unsafe" images) if you want to use totoz.eu smileys. When the server is set to "http://forum.hardware.fr/images/perso", the link is to "http://forum.hardware.fr/smilieperso.php" (and it has been so for several months I think, so unless you have a quite old version it should work).
I thought I had set it to http://sfw.totoz.eu by default but apparently not, so I am changing it right now in the CVS version.

naheemsays commentedIs it possible to use smileys from smileys.module?
That would avoid the need for setting an external (uncontrolled) smiley server
On a second note, the default still seems to be "http://forum.hardware.fr/images/perso", but the displayed link is also not the php clickable one. You get the same link, clicking on it gives a new page with "Forbidden" on it.

SeeSchloss commentedWell, it feels like it's the third time I'm commiting sfw.totoz.eu as the default server but heh, it should be done now /o\
About the smileys module, yeah I'm going to do that, with filters I think (since you have opened another ticket for that, I'm closing this one - again, haha)
