Limit number of substitutions per node

First of all, thank you so much for this module. It is excellent. I have one question for you, though.

I noticed that one can limit the number of words replaced in a post, but this applies for the same words only, right ? But if I have a very comprehensive keyword list, I could end up with 20+ links per post generated, and that would not be very good. My question is: is there a way to limit the number of words replaced per post, for example ? The module would essentially keep replacing up until X words are replaced, then move on....
