Description

Now that Drupal 6 is in RC1, it's time to really start thinking about the upgrade. I've tried D6 briefly and looked over the handbook to see what needs to change, but it's been a while.

I have created the initial tag from the HEAD, but since I do not yet have Drupal 6 deployed anywhere, I cannot yet test this. As such, I'm not going to create a developer release for Drupal 6 until such time as I can start testing.

Any updates on this? I really like this module and would love to see it ported to 6.x. It's not currently listed on http://groups.drupal.org/node/5036

If you're not working on porting it yet then I might have a go at fixing it up myself? Don't want to duplicate effort though..

Thanks!

This module was developed while I worked for my former employer and I'm not currently doing any Drupal development. I would be willing to apply any patches anyone wants to contribute. I'm still waiting for word back from my previous employer on whether or not I may allow someone else to contribute directly to this module.

I have no particular desire to end up actually maintaining it :)

I may take a look at updating it for 6.x though, if I actually get any time.

How is it going ?
I'm really interested in a 6.0 version for this module.

I wrote this for my previous employer and I'm in a bind since I haven't been able get permission from them to release the CVS repository to someone else to continue the work. If you want, you can see the instructions I've added to the top of the module project description on who to complain to about this:

http://drupal.org/project/promotion

Otherwise, the code is released under the GPL, so if you can fork the project (or pay someone to do it for you) and get it working on Drupal 6, please do.

I don't have time right now to dedicate to this sort of improvement myself.

Has this gone anywhere?
