phpbb last answered topics

Hi all. i had been previously using joomla. i has used a module called "phpbb last answered topics" which fetches the latest forum topics on phpbb and puts in on frontpage.

Now i have completely rebuild my website using drupal. i would like to know if any similar module is available for drupal. I came across a module which compltely integrates drupal with phpbb. But i need a module which only fetches latest post topics to home page as a block..

I have a link for that module's page. can anyone help me to use the same module on drupal with certain changes. Because all are built on php language.
