So I have created a CCK field called "Headline". The output is wrapped in a few Divs, is there any way to change the wrapper from a few divs to an H2 or the like? I am trying to work around the position of the title on the homepage by hiding the default title and replacing it with this "Headline" weighted further down the page.
There are a few articles on how to theme a CCK form, but it seems to be for a more advanced purpose than this. Is there a way to have an H2 tag around the content of the field?

Yar, that is a bit much for me now. I'll have to come back to that, for now on to a bigger issue here http://drupal.org/node/203512
Contemplate
Try contemplate (Content Templates) for an easier way to theme how your content is displayed in html. It would be easy to use this and edit the default output to replace the divs with h2 tags.
