Sorry I'm not very web developer savy so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. I just made a Drupal site for my girlfriend's father and he can't upload any pictures off of his computer, but he can on mine. Also it works on his computer once out of 20 tries. When it doesn't work he gets the '500 Internal Server Error'. We are uploading one at a time through the create content section. My computer is a Mac using Safari and he's on a Vista PC using I.E. The website is hosted on 1&1 is that makes a difference. Thanks a bunch for any help.

drewish commentedyou're probably running out of memory. as a test try uploading a very small image or disabling some other modules. if that fixes the problem you need to ask your host to increase PHP's memory limit.

olly-beginner commentedI´ve got the same problem! Once it while it works but most of the time not. I deactivated all unused modules and the memory_limit for php is 40M which is far enough according to a guy knowing that stuff. However does anyone has a solution for me?? I must admit I´m not php-safe at all!
