When creating a new topic, the forum drop down list has no items in it. I've already created a forum container, a forum, and a forum type category. What else am I missing?

I just re-produced this problem on demo site: http://demo.opensourcecms.com/

I think I must have deleted the auto-generated category by accecident. The category can recover itself, so I didn't have to re-add it. But, if this is the case, how to fix it?
