Simple image uploader?

Are there any modules available that provide a simple interface for users to upload images and insert them into a text field?
Modules such as Asset, Media Manager and imce have interfaces that offer too many options.
Ideally, I'm looking for a module that only has one field that the user can use to upload a file from there computer.
Image Picker (http://www.tonyspencer.com/category/drupal/) is fairly streamlined. However, it still offers too many unessential options. It also doesn't allow mandatory limits to be set on the size of images.

I really like the Image Picker module, but my favorite way to insert images is with the Flickrstickr module. It depends on Flickr (which may be an advantage or disadvantage depending on your needs) and it hasn't been officially updated to work with D5 (though there's a patch in the issue queue).
Have you tried the new development version of Asset? I played with it for a few minutes and was really impressed. It has a lot of features but the module has several components you don't need to enable. The announcement for it is at http://www.mostrey.be/asset-one-module-rule-all-files
