Hi,

Taxorole restricts access to the node content regarding the user role and the taxonomy of the node. Taxonomy role controls the possibility of using vocabularies in the editing of the node.

Looks very similar to http://drupal.org/project/vocabperms, and that one seems to be actively updated. However, that one isn't working for me, this one does. not sure why.
