Recipe trimmed/teaser text does not show up on main page.

When I create a recipe, the entry on the main page is empty. The recipe displays fine in the individual recipe nodes. I've tried to disable the trimmed main page setting so that the entire entry should show up. Then I created new recipies and it still showed nothing on the main page. I am using the 4.6rc core and the cvs version of Recipe.
