Critical errors are present. Your Gallery is not available.
Location of Gallery2: file /embed.php does not exist [Error]

I don't know what to put in the embed.php since I didn't get anything like that in my download. EITHER time I down loaded it.

Is there somewhere to download just that file?

The file embed.php is part of your G2 installation. You basically need to specify the location of this file in " Step 2: Gallery2 location settings" (please read http://codex.gallery2.org/Integration:Drupal:Installation for detailed instructions) during initial configuration of your embedded gallery.

you need to explain more what versions you are using so someone can help. is this a production server or test setup? you should read the docs thoroughly.

as profix898 wrote, you need to set the correct location.

my test server (os x) location is: /Sites/drupal/gallery2/
my production server (drupal is in root and gallery inside that): /gallery2/
