Hi!

As I've written elsewhere on this website (http://drupal.org/node/204748), I would like to have TAC to be integrated in Disknode. And not just Disknode, but every node (or if that's impossible, at least every self-made content type).

Because currently TAC only supports Page and Story (I'm not sure about Blog and Book; I don't use these modules).

Cheers, and thank you for such a nice module! I strongly believe that TAC should be part of Core; that way, every other module could make use of ACL.

Well, it appears that version 5.x-2.x-dev allows TAC. w00t!

Cheers, man!

Doh, I was too quick to cheer: TAC 5.x-2.x-dev does appear on other nodes, but it is Disknode that won't allow any downloads now. I'll try to find out what happens exactly, but that's an issue for Disknode.

Cheerio, and sorry for the noise!

I have made a test vocabulary that consists of two terms: "Administrator" and "All". Administrator has got full permissions everywhere, whereas All only a few read permissions on some modules and in TAC.

Disknode will only permit anonymous users to download disknode if and only if TAC allows anonymous users to have "Administrator View" rights set to "A(llow)".

Strange, because the view permissions of the node itself are correct: if Anonymous is not allowed to view nodes tagged with "Administrator", then it won't be accessible for anonymous users; mutatis mutandis when if Anonymous is allowed.

It appears that, for some odd reason, attachments with Disknode need "Administrator" View rights. Perhaps this is because "Administrator" comes earlier in the alphabet than "All"? Or perhaps because I made "Administrator" the first term of the vocabulary?

I think this is a bug, either in TAC or in Disknode, so I've been so free to reassign the feature request to a bug report.

I'll leave this now for a bit, and see what else I can find out.

Best regards

Now this is odd: I have another site, and it has Taxonomy Access 5.x-1.1 and Disknode 5.x-1.x-dev, and that combination seems to work quite nicely! I can't upgrade the module on that website, since it is already in use, and the next planned upgrade is a few months away.

Sounds like it's fixed.
