When using the update status module (http://drupal.org/project/update_status) for the automatic update checking of Drupal modules, I get in the list of available updates (Administer\Logs\Available Updates) for Login Menu "No available releases found" and instead of the name of the module and the version, the listing shows the name of the parent subdirectory where the module is installled (example: "_add_on_modules 5.x-1.x-dev").
I suspect the loginmenu.info file doesn't contain all the necessary information?
The update status module documentation states that it doesn't track "dev" releases, which I have found not to be true. The modules Invisimail and Actions both are in dev stage, but they show up correctly.
Thanks for looking into this,
Gerald

rwohlebI'm not sure if there is an issue. Plus, this should be a moot point with the release of D6.
