On the player with playlist only black screen with the arrow is displayed with no thumbnail images. Each of the videos in the playlist they have their own thumbnail images getting displayed. I can see that from the view of the videos as well as on the individual video pages. What is the way to make the thumbnail images from any of the videos ( preferably the first video in the list) in the playlist to get displayed in the player.

You can use the Dash Media Player to do this.
