After Upgrade, to latest Dev version.
My products no longer have an add to cart button.
When clicking on edit, I don’t have a section to specify a price.
I use file products, and now the nodes aren’t attached to the files.
When I edit the existing node there is no section to set / upload files.
When creating new file products I have the same issue.
im going to try to uninstall the e-store and install again.

clint.davis commentedok uninstalled, and reintalled the latest alpha9 version.
everything now works except when installing the new file module i get a 500 internal server error on every page!!..
the only way to fix this is to disable the module manually through mysql.
i then went through the uninstall and reinstall by hand for the module, however exactly the same problem.
does anyone have anything to try?

brmassa commentedClint,
file module now requires the Private Upload module.

clint.davis commentedYeah when installing the alpha it gave me the requirment, however the dev version dident tell me i needed it.
i installed and activated Private_Upload (as the alpha9 had it set as a requirment) version: 5.x-1.0-beta6
However the problem now, is that when activating the file module for the alpha9 version i get the 500 internal server error.
do you suggest moving back to the latest dev as i now have the private upload module installed?
Thanks, Clint

clint.davis commentedok i started again removed all of the tables and installed the latest dev version. and installed it again.
and the file module installs now. - No more 500 internal server error.
However the file module its on but i cant see any of its items anywhere...
I cant create a product called files, and i cant edit a node and turn it into a file product.
????
any ideas?

gordon commentedWhich version did you upgrade from?
clint.davis commentedUmm... originally I had a dev version from about 1 month ago (just before the new file system was added). and i upgraded to the latest dev version (as of yesterday)
As i had the problems above, i waited a day and got the new dev version. and i attempted to remove all of the ec related items (in the database)... unless there are some special entry’s i think i got them all.
So it was pritty much a fresh install of the latest dev version.
and the only problem i now have is that the ec_file module is installed and turned on, but its not showing in the add product menu.

storbaek commentedI seem to be having the same problem as desribed in the first comment. I am using file product and EC views, but "Product: Price", "Purchased Product: Number of Purchases" and "Product: Add to cart link" are not showing? If I add node title or node author on the same view , it shows perfectly. It seem to be only related to EC views fields.
Also, when I add some content, I have the option under product to say whether it is "not a product" or "file download product". From here I can click on the button "add to store". If I click the button, I then get the price, file path and remove from store options. Shouldn't the option of whether it is a file product or not be under content type (where it used to be, but do not appear anymore), so price automatically appears?
Thank you for all you dedication to the e-commerce massa and gordon!
Dan
