Glossary within Views makes links not work properly

I have a user of the Glossary module who is reporting (http://drupal.org/node/205813) that the glossary links are not correctly formatting (missing site name part). I am unable to reproduce this on my test site. Do you know of anything in the Views "environment" that would prevent a filter module from getting correct output from the "l" function?
