My logs are full with


Duplicate entry '96-122' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO simplenews_snid_tid (snid, tid) VALUES (96, 122) .....

OR

Duplicate entry '268-122' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO simplenews_snid_tid (snid, tid) VALUES (268, 122) in /includes/database.mysql.inc ...

There is no entry for simplenews in the sequence table ...
Thus - I do not know where to change the SNID or TID...
The highest entry in simplenews_snid_tid is SNID = 426 and TID=122.
I assume I have to change SNID to something >426 but I have no idea where to change.
It seems that this appears to different SNID/TID pairs...

And yes - I tried to find out the reason as something similar was described at

Could please somebody advise what to do?

FYI

I also installed Simplenews Roles and will check whether this causes the error.
Nevertheless, if somebody knows this problem or knows how to overcome this incident, please post.

I have the same problem and the Simplenews module does not send any newsletters , the test letter is sent fine .. the same error messages are logged .... anybody can help here ?

It seems that simplenews is not supported anymore as I did not received any answer since Jan'08.

Any recommendations for another news module?

Simplenews was and is supported. But I have not seen your bug reported in the simplenews issue queue: http://drupal.org/project/issues/simplenews
