Is there any plans to add a Web File Manager File Field like the File Field module?

This would allow users to specify a CCK file field in which the user can set various settings like WebFM upload path and allowable mime types.

It's great that you can enable WebFM for separate content types, but what if you don't want your users navigating the file system tree each time they want to upload a document?

That would indeed be a great idea and would make WebFM thé File Management module for Drupal...

I added this module but I cannot see any difference in the fileds option when i manage fileds of my content type. Did i miss any?

As per #803722: Cease support of Drupal 5? support for D4 and D5 has been closed. Sorry, please upgrade to Drupal 6. If you think this issue still applies with Version 6.x please reopen this issue with correct version tag.
